World Exhibition Reformation
Calendar of events
The World Reformation Exhibition is still running until the 10th of September 2017. Lutherstadt Wittenberg becomes a discovery world, presenting an open air exhibition in front of a historic setting uniquely set up for the reformation jubilee.
The whole city changes to an exhibition space with seven subject areas, the so called Gate Areas. Not only are they the landmarks of the exhibitions but also expositions themselves. Spectacular installations in the green belt around the old town can be visited. 80 organizations, associations and churches present join-in activities and exhibitions.
Until the 10th of September, the World Reformation Exhibition is opened from Wednesday to Monday (Tuesday is day of rest). An every-day alternating program provides top-class entertainment. Each week highlights its own theme. In the right margin you can find an overview of all the topic weeks. By clicking on the picture, the events of the week will appear. An interactive map gives an overview of all the locations where events take place. The calendar of events is updated regularly.
All locations and events can also be found in the app of the World Reformation Exhibition. A special highlight is the free audio guide through Lutherstadt Wittenberg and the World Reformation Exhibition, spoken by Margot Käßmann and Frank Arnold.
In addition to that, in Lutherstadt Wittenberg the visitors will receive a printed program for free, listing all the events that take place in the current topic week. The map on the back of the flyer shows all the venues and sights in a breakdown. The app of the World Reformation Exhibition, the audio guide and the program are available in German as well as in English.
